My Poetry
I have been writing poetry for many years, just in the last few getting any of it published. I have just recently gotten science fiction poems published in the Christian science fiction e-zines Mindflights. and in Digital Dragon magazine. Go read and enjoy!
Be aware that most of my poetry isn't "pretty" poems filled with puffery. I don't want to give away my best stuff for free, but the poem below is something I submitted to some web thing or another so it's already been out there on the internet.
Recycled
There's a dumpster in the driveway
For all the valuable stuff
We saved to remind us
Of things we remember anyway
Offered from the soul of the wounded
Bright diamond shards cut deeply
Blood courses through rusted channels
Draining slowly leaves only wooden framework
Bleached clean shingles ready for love again
